Must Have
H. S. Diploma/GED, 2 years or more in manufacturing or industry related field, 2 years or more in supervisory experience, 3 years or more in problem solving skills experience, use of formal Root Cause Countermeasure Systems, Intermediate computer skills, Knowledge of OSHA
Nice to Have
Bachelor's Degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field, Exposure to Lean principles, systems and tools, Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Knowledge of material handling equipment may be required based on position, DOT and Hazmat knowledge may be required based on the account
What You'll Do.
Manages production material in a customer manufacturing facility
Ensures production demand is met by analyzing demand
Builds and maintains relationships with customer floor leaders
Ensures Business Plan Deployment dashboards are updated
Monitors hourly / daily / weekly / yearly targets
Supervisory responsibilities pertaining to hiring
Interfaces with customer applications
Development of system and process training for employees
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Interfaces with manufacturing customer personnel daily; Communicates to internal and customer team; Communicates with union stewards, Upper MGT and HR as applicable; Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
Communication Scope
Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms with customers, employees, peers and management
