Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market. **Job Responsibilities:** # Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Work closely with the Production team to identify issues affecting safety, thru-put, efficiency, ergonomics, product flow and down time. * Identify areas of improvements within the current production process. * Ensure feasibility studies and team reviews are completed as per engineering procedures. * Prepare business case studies for investment. * Support cost down/lean/continuous improvement activities as defined by engineering. * Responsible for accurate documentation in system. * Responsible for updating control plans, work instructions, TPM instructions and in general any controlled document required for production to run the process. * Ensure all PPAP requirements are met due to any process change. * Work closely with all supporting departments to ensure support and planning agreements. * Work closely with sales, accounting, and purchasing departments, Tier 2 suppliers, and tooling vendors to ensure commercial needs are met in conjunction with engineering changes. * Corrective action team member. * Support audits. * 5S responsible for work station and department.
