Occasional lifting of items not to exceed 50 lbs, May be required to use safety glasses and wear steel toe shoes while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas, final candidates are subject to drug screen and background checks
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, at least 3 years of engineering experience, read, interpret, and create blueprints and technical documents, proficient with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, proficient with 2D CAD software, preferably AutoCAD, at least 2 years of Hands-on experience with high volume CNC Machining, automated assembly, and/or plastic injection molding processes, Experience with capital equipment projects and new product launches while meeting APQP and ISO 9001 and/or TS 16949 standards, Excellent troubleshooting skills, Able to demonstrate ingenuity/creativity regarding problem solving and countermeasure implementation, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Excellent organizational skills, able to motivate team efforts to accomplish goals, Able to quickly learn basic knowledge of the company, products, manufacturing processes, and rules, proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

What You'll Do.

Develop and maintain document quality system for new and existing programs (PFMEA

Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals
training team members
and evaluating results
Gives input to product design based on design for manufacture/design for assembly philosophy
Performs cost-benefit analysis for product and/or manufacturing process cost reduction
and improved efficiency
Leads or participates in Kaizen activities to ensure continuous improvement in manufacturing processes
Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of building floor space
Performs routine activities accurately and promptly per instructions and procedures
Train Production and Maintenance Associates to improve technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on the production shop floor
