Eligibility Requirements

Must be able to travel (less than 5% of role), Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to meet major milestones, U. S. citizen or national, U. S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), Refugee under 8 U. S. C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U. S. C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U. S. Department of State.

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of manufacturing scheduling, planning or OR 3+ years of professional experience with manufacturing scheduling, planning or operations in lieu of a degree

Nice to Have

Experience managing manufacturing of electrical components/system (Electrical Panels, Harnessing, Circuit Board Fabrication, Electrician prefabrication, etc. ), Technical knowledge and skills in coding and computer applications (e. g. MS Office Suite, VBA, Smartsheet, SQL, Confluence, JIRA, Power BI, etc. ), Highly skilled at taking in large quantities of information and presenting it in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing, Understanding of lean principles, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement concepts, Familiarity with root-cause analysis methodologies and problem-solving, Awareness of NFPA, UL508A or similar codes/standards

What You'll Do.

Provide tactical scheduling support to ensure critical test systems are delivered on time

and present critical path schedules and schedule narratives to both internal and external stakeholders

Work across departments to identify and mitigate critical-path schedule risks to avoid delays to test system deliveries

Coordinate with suppliers to maintain schedules for outsourced test equipment and address blockers as they arise

Source and onboard new suppliers to establish a test equipment supply chain which may include shops for harnessing

mechanical fabrication

Prepare daily work schedules for multiple areas

update critical path schedules

and communicate adjustments

Execute purchase orders

track progress on deliveries

and address any discrepancies as they arise

Utilize ERP (enterprise resource planning)

MES (manufacturing execution systems)

and material requirements planning (MRP) systems to coordinate test rack builds and inventory

Assist in root-cause analysis for manufacturing issues

provide feedback to improve planning

and support development of streamlined processes between production and planning
