Full Job Description
The Full-Time Production Control Room Operator is responsible for various television production duties required to create scenes for live and recorded broadcasts. * Composes and frames camera shots, applying the technical aspects of light, lenses and camera settings to achieve the effects sought by directors • Adjusts positions and controls of cameras to change focus as requested by the director • Operates studio cameras during live and recorded broadcasts • Sets up cameras and related equipment • Operates graphics and video for live and recorded broadcasts • Operates audio board for live and recorded broadcasts • Operates video switcher for live and recorded broadcasts • Confers with directors and other crew members to discuss sequences and desired effects • Performs other duties as assigned * Requirements & Skills: • Fluency in English • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Pay Range: $31,200 - $35,360 Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits package includes, but not limited to, medical (with multiple plan options), dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) with company matching contributions, life insurance, Paid Parental Leave and more.
