Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Project Management, 3+ years demonstrated experience in shipyards, ship repair, or USN, Knowledgeable in ship construction, Proficiency in Adobe Pro, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Working familiarity with Primavera, Experience in scheduling concepts, Working familiarity with MRP Software, Working familiarity with Austal Proprietary Software, Proficient in Earned Value Management System, Proficient in performance measurement techniques, Ability to organize and chair meetings, Ability to present to a formal audience, Effective communication skills, Ability to determine schedule drivers, US Citizenship required

Nice to Have

Full Job Description

**REPORTS TO:** PCC Leader ## **SUPERVISES:** N/A **AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:** Work Execution and Monitoring * Support execution priority management to minimize project delays and improve overall performance * Maintain tracking and scheduling tools, ensuring transparency, accountability, and visibility into project progress and job completion * Facilitate and support weekly and daily facility meetings, collaborating with management across all departments and trades to ensure alignment on production objectives and priorities. * Apply established project management methodologies to ensure consistent, sustainable results across all initiatives and projects. * Develop, document, analyze, and report on key production metrics including throughput, cycle times, and TAKT times to drive performance insights, support informed decision-making and continuous improvement. * Produce, update, and maintain reports to support CAMs, ensuring accurate application and reporting of Earned Value Management (EVM) standards. * Collaborate with project and production teams to monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and schedule adherence. Work Planning * Work with Project Managers, Planning and Control Account Managers (CAMs) to develop baseline ship schedules, including budget distribution, cut sequences, panel/assembly TAKT times, and erect sequences and validate major milestone critical work, ensuring that key project milestones are met and aligned with overall program objectives. * Identify and help resolve production bottlenecks, implementing strategic solutions to streamline operations and drive rapid, measurable improvements * Conduct facility real estate "what-if" scenario analyses and propose actionable solutions to project and production teams to optimize space utilization and mitigate constraints. * Provide strategic solutions to address facility challenges, mitigate cost impacts, and minimize schedule dela
