What You'll Achieve.
ensuring efficient and high-quality production processes; ensuring optimal production efficiency; support inventory management; ensuring proper time tracking; ensure equipment cleanliness and operational readiness
Industry & Context.
Monitor production processes for out-of-tolerance readings and promptly report any discrepancies to supervision
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as approved footwear, respirators, safety glasses/goggles, required, frequent exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles, Periodic exposure to outdoor environment through open doors
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School diploma or General Education Development (GED), Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and work orders, Ability to use hand operated and power tools, Basic mechanical and mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division), Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification, Basic computer skills, Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals, Basic understanding of work/labor scheduling, Continuously required to talk, hear, and see, Regularly required to stand, walk, bend and reach, Use hands and fingers to grasp, handle and feel, Frequently lift and/or move materials weighing up to 40 pounds, Occasionally lift, maneuver, or handle materials weighing up to 60 pounds, Communicate effectively in English by telephone, in person and in writing, Effectively use a personal computer, basic calculator, and telephone, Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

a minimum one (1) year of manufacturing/machine operation experience
What You'll Do.
transforming ceramic material into finished products
Safely operate various production equipment
including vacuum forming machines
Interpret work orders and specifications to produce ceramic fiber insulating shapes accurately
Set up jobs according to work order instructions and job prints
ensuring optimal production efficiency
Perform quality control checks using precision measurement tools such as tape measures
Monitor production processes for out-of-tolerance readings and promptly report any discrepancies to supervision
Maintain accurate records of inspection results
and part quantities to support inventory management
Utilize computer terminals on the shop floor to clock in and out of jobs
ensuring proper time tracking
Communicate effectively with supervision regarding any issues
or equipment malfunctions that may impact production goals
Conduct basic Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure equipment cleanliness and operational readiness
