Full Job Description
**A Day in Your Life at MKS:** As a Production Assembler at Photon Control Inc., a subsidiary of MKS Instruments, Inc. you be responsible for assembling all electronic component parts including for the preparation, placement, and installation of all component parts. In this role, you will report to the Production Manager. **You Will Make an Impact By:** * Manual assembly of electronic components including complex and accurate parts according to assembly procedures, custom specs and quality standards. * Perform hand soldering and test, mixed assemblies and custom parts. * Component preparation, placement and installation. * Final assembly and/or pack and ship as required. * The mechanical assembly as required. * Conduct repair/touch up/modifications on the products as required. * Be able to work on different aspects of manufacturing operations. * Participate in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set. * Participate in all team level quality improvement initiatives, 5s, and safety procedures. * Other duties as required. **Skills You Bring:** * Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment. * Knowledge of standards in electronic components handling preferred. * Familiar with Lean principles would be an asset. * Hands-on manufacturing skills such as manual soldering is good to have * Basic Excel experience is required. * Strong communication skills and a team player. **Physical Demands and Working Conditions:** * Ability to lift up to 30 lbs * Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time * Perform repetitive tasks such as hand polishing, labeling and packaging. **Benefits:** * Bonus Percentage Plan * RRSP Matching Program * Healthcare Including Medical, Dental and Vision, Life Insurance and AD&D, Medical Travel Insurance * Global Employee Assistance Program * Referral Program * Recognition Awards * Additional Flex Day Off with Spending Allowance * Transit Zone 1 Reimbursement * Activ
