ABOUT ONYX Onyx is an online prediction platform poised to shake up the world of sports. Onyx has seen immense growth in user activity and strong engagement across product and marketing, driving continued expansion of the team. Founded by Harvard graduates with a background at Jane Street, Onyx is headquartered in downtown Manhattan. THE ROLE: We are looking for a Product Validation Analyst to help test and validate new product features, internal tools, and user flows across our platform. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Promotions teams to ensure new launches meet a high quality bar before release. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, identifying edge cases, improving product quality, and working in a fast-paced startup environment. The position also offers strong growth opportunities into Project Management over time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Test new product features, releases, and updates across web and mobile platforms before launch - Execute structured test cases while also independently exploring edge cases and unexpected user behaviors - Identify, document, reproduce, and clearly communicate bugs to Engineering and Operations teams - Validate bug fixes and develop workflows to ensure issues are fully resolved - Track issues, prioritize findings, and provide organized product feedback throughout the development cycle - Support additional ad hoc responsibilities across the business REQUIREMENTS - Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Strong written and verbal communication abilities - Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues independently - Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities - Interested in sports gaming, prediction markets, crypto, trading, or consumer technology - Experience testing consumer-facing products, apps, or workflows is a plus - Familiarity with bug tracking or project management tools is a plus - Preference for candidates who
