The Product Quality Engineer (PQE) is an integral role in the Global Operations organization and key liaison with ADI Business Units. The PQE is responsible for leading teams to resolve complex customer quality issues and for continuous improvement in new product design and test standards. The PQE takes a lead role in problem solving, coordinating resources across organizations and geographic regions to drive issues to closure, and to communicate the results in written reports. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple products, to interface internally across Quality, Operations and Businesses and to support customers through our field sales and customer quality engineering (CQE) teams. **Responsibilities/Duties:** * Lead cross-functional global 8D teams to ensure expedient resolution of customer quality issues from initiation to closure. * Facilitate the use of structured problem-solving tools (Is/Is-Not, Fault Tree Analysis, Fishbone, 5-why) to drive root cause investigations and develop effective corrective actions (occurrence, escape, and systemic). * Drive lessons learned and preventive actions into the new product development process to improve product quality and risk
