What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4 years’ business, analytical, technical and/or product experience, minimum of 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience (in lieu of degree), minimum of 4 years’ business, analytical, technical and/or product experience (in lieu of degree)
Nice to Have
Prior experience prioritizing across competing priorities and quickly-changing landscape, Prior experience actively seeking out multiple opinions, yet making independent decisions and influencing positive outcomes, Understanding of Design Thinking principles, Knowledge of basic product design and development best practices, Knowledge of Agile and Lean principles and practices, Experience working in partnership with user experience teams on product design
What You'll Do.
Serves as owner for ServiceNow Development and Cloud Infrastructure Modernization
Defines product vision and roadmap
Prioritizes product backlog
Anticipates client needs
Serves as primary communicator between product stakeholders and teams
Evaluates product progress at each iteration
Defines and articulates new opportunities
Builds and owns the product vision and roadmap
Communicates product vision and roadmap with the team and all stakeholders
Prioritizes the backlog based on the overall product vision and strategy
Represents the voice of the customer within the team
Conveys story details
Grooms the backlog in partnership with the team
Specifies acceptance criteria for each user story
Works directly with the delivery team to create appropriate information radiators and other communication tools
Participates in all team activities and ceremonies
Understands and engages with your customers
Focuses on outcomes over outputs
Incorporates design thinking methods and analytics to inform product design
Collaborates across teams and with other Product Owners to align the customer journey and dependent backlogs
Understands and adheres to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards
policies and controls
Identifies risk-related issues needing escalation to management
Maintains M&T internal control standards
Completes other related duties as assigned
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Serves as primary communicator between product stakeholders and teams; Works in close concert with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and their dedicated agile team; Communicates product vision and roadmap with the team and all stakeholders; Works directly with the delivery team; Participates in all team activities and ceremonies; Uses a matrixed influencing approach to work with essential business partners throughout the organization irrespective of hierarchy or divisions; Collaborates across teams and with other Product Owners to align the customer journey and dependent backlogs
