Full Job Description
## Accountabilities You will own and evolve the payments infrastructure strategy, ensuring seamless orchestration across multiple providers and financial rails. Lead end-to-end payments product strategy across acquiring, issuing, and cross-border money movement. Own relationships and integrations with Tier 1 banks and major payment infrastructure providers, including institutions such as JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and Wells Fargo. Architect a multi-provider payments stack, balancing performance, reliability, cost, and regulatory requirements. Drive vendor selection and negotiation across payment processors and infrastructure partners such as Stripe, Adyen, and similar platforms. Partner closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into scalable system design and implementation roadmaps. Lead the product and operational transition toward direct money transmitter licensing and expanded regulatory ownership. Build frameworks for international expansion across multiple payment corridors and settlement systems. Ensure a cohesive end-to-end customer experience across fragmented financial rails. Requirements The ideal candidate brings strong payments expertise, technical fluency, and proven experience navigating complex financial infrastructure. 4–9+ years of product experience focused on payments, fintech infrastructure, or financial systems. Proven track record of owning vendor relationships and large-scale payment integrations. Hands-on experience with payment rails such as ACH, wire, card networks, real-time payments, and cross-border systems. Experience working with or negotiating alongside Tier 1 financial institutions (e.g., Goldman Sachs, Citi, or comparable banks). Strong understanding of payment processors and infrastructure platforms such as Marqeta, Checkout.com, or Stripe Issuing. Prior exposure to money transmitter licensing transitions is strongly preferred (or ability to quickly ramp on regulatory complexity). Ability to operate fluently
