Full Job Description
WHAT APHEX DOES Aphex is the execution platform for major construction projects, the connected system where teams plan their upcoming work, coordinate their day-to-day, and capture the daily record. Everything draws from the same live plan. Major contractors like Acciona, CPB Contractors, John Holland, and McConnell Dowell use Aphex to deliver projects from £50 million to multi-billion pound mega projects. We're market-leading in Australia and the UK, supporting teams building the roads, rail, tunnels, and hospitals that millions use every day. THE ROLE Your mission: keep deepening Planner, the live working plan that the site teams on major construction projects rely on every day, and help extend it as Aphex grows. The opportunity: Planner is where the site team's plan, coordination, and daily routine all live in one place. Lookaheads. Weekly work plans. Resource and spatial planning. Daily coordination. Briefings. The constant back-and-forth between plan and reality. The decisions made in Planner shape what actually gets built: billion-dollar bridges, city-spanning tunnels, country-powering wind farms, on time or not. When we make Planner better, the work of running a major project gets a little less painful for the people doing it. It's the most iterated and mature part of Aphex, and the foundation the rest of the product is being built around. There's huge ground left to cover, both in going deeper into what already works and in extending it into the adjacent territory the wider product is moving into. We're on the lookout for a second Product Manager to join our Planner team, partly because there's a lot we want to build and not enough of us to build it, and partly because the team is at the point where having more than one product person on it just makes sense. You'd take on major Planner initiatives, something the team is working on for a quarter or longer, and own the delivery of all features inside it end-to-end, from discovery through to QA to launch.
