Full Job Description
Amazon Pay UPI team is looking for a customer-obsessed, results-driven Program Manager II to join our UPI team in India. In this role, you will own planning, execution, and delivery of programs that power UPI-based payment experiences for millions of Amazon customers. You will work at the intersection of product, technology, and business — driving cross-functional initiatives in India's fastest-growing real-time payments ecosystem. The Amazon Pay UPI team operates at the forefront of India's digital payments revolution. We build seamless UPI experiences across Amazon.in checkout, Money transfers, merchant payments, and bill payments — all while navigating NPCI guidelines, RBI regulations, and multi-bank integrations. This role demands someone who can navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, and deliver results in a highly regulated, partner-dependent environment. Key job responsibilities • Drive cross-team execution involving 5+ teams across UPI Services, PSP Infrastructure, Checkout, Tech, Post Order, CS Tech, and external banking partners • Define and track program milestones, success metrics like transaction success rates, latency, adoption • Conduct competitive analysis across UPI players (SICs) to inform product strategy • Partner with UX, engineering, and business teams to deliver best-in-class UPI experiences • Translate NPCI/RBI regulatory requirements and business needs into clear functional specifications and technical requirements • Influence roadmap priorities, product feature decisions, and engineering processes within the UPI pod • Drive detailed business and technical discussions with cross-functional teams including Legal, Regulatory, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service • Identify and eliminate process gaps that impact UPI team productivity and cross-team collaboration • Optimize incident management, partner escalation, and regulatory compliance processes for the UPI vertical Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of product management experie
