Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related degree/discipline, three (3) or more years relevant experience, Practical knowledge and/or experience with technical drawing practices and GD&T standards, 3D CAD modeling experience, Ability to obtain a U. S. DoD Secret Security Clearance

Emerging areas of focus include metal additive manufacturing, blockchain for supply chain, sensor integration, and propulsion test facilities. Moog in Orrville OH is a global designer and manufacturer of high performance hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical (EM) actuators for nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers, as well as for some of the most demanding industrial applications. Our naval products comply with stringent qualification requirements such as shock, vibration, low acoustic signature, and seawater corrosion resistance, while our industrial products are often designed comply with API, ATEX, or other customer specific requirements. Many of our applications are mission or safety critical. Moog Orrville is looking for a Product Engineer in the Product Engineering group. You will report to the Product Engineering Section Head. In this role, you will play a key role in the development, testing, improvement, and qualification of hardware used on military and commercial vehicles and equipment. The products of Moog are generally unique for each customer and therefore most new applications require a special, tailored design.
