Must Have
Knowledge of Jabil operating policies and procedures, Knowledge and experience of supply chain and engineering in manufacturing environment, Demonstrated Hands-on experience in the required process, Understanding of DFM/A, FMEA and IPC requirements, Able to write technical reports for the Site, Proven proficiency across multiple disciplines and or technologies, Fluent in business processes and best practices, Advanced electronics skills related to computer hardware, Advanced design and architecture experience, In-circuit and functional test experience, Experience architecting test fixtures, Experience managing NPI processes, Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public, communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
Knowledge in Basic Statistics and knowledge of carrying a DOE, BOM management experience, Experience in automated manufacturing environments
What You'll Do.
Facilitate other engineers at the site
and troubleshooting for assigned processes
Manage verification of lower-complexity products and projects
Assist in high-complexity projects
Participate in the verification of various new products by qualifying new products and related design
Ensure product meets customer needs
and quality standards
Optimize product designs for manufacturability
and cost-effectiveness
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Collaborate on design modifications to streamline production and reduce manufacturing costs
Ensure excellence on the assigned manufacturing process
Provide expert advice for urgent needs due to high defect rates
Ensure process is well in control and delivering the highest possible yields
Understand the scope of all manufacturing chain processes and implications of each change
Review and evaluate new technologies
Participate in design and implementation of specific Technology Services projects
Work with Customers to determine requirements and translate them to actionable tasks
Align Product Engineering solutions within the overall Technology Services strategy
Design solutions on an Enterprise level
Analyze and root cause issues related to projects
Act as an escalation for technical issues and support
Identify and communicate risks to the business
Perform as a mentor to regional and site resources
Perform research and analysis on new technology and business practices
Perform and/or support other duties and responsibilities of team members
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy
Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement
Identify and implement new practices and processes that are 'best in class'
Provide input on creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems
Coordinate line reconfigurations and machine move activities
Provide support for all quoting activities
Serve as liaison between Jabil Circuit and suppliers or customers on quality related issues
Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures
Determine conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations
Serve as the functional and core Workcell expert for product and its life cycle
Track and communicate all changes/enhancements to existing process
Support Site during audits and customer visits
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers; Work closely with manufacturing teams; Collaborate on design modifications; Encourage open communication and exchange of information within the Engineering department and between the various support groups; Take help of Regional/Global wherever its required; Perform as a mentor to regional and site resources

JOB SUMMARY :- Product Engineering The Product Engineer will be knowledgeable of the basic processes and facilitate other engineers at the site. This individual is also responsible for the implementation, support, training, and troubleshooting for the process being assigned in their facility. This position is assigned to an individual who has good hands-on experience with the product and process, and already be considered to be a key person of the process. Perform as a technical leader across disciplines and or technologies and assist management in meeting our strategic initiatives. They will drive the proficiency within the team, assure best practices are followed and support the delivery of quality solutions. Under supervision of higher-level peers, manages the verification of lower-complexity products and projects, and assists in high-complexity projects. Participates in the verification of various new products by qualifying new products and related design collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers to conceptualize, design, and develop new products or enhance existing ones. Your focus will be on ensuring that the product meets customer needs, market demands, and quality standards.
