Full Job Description
FINANCIAL SERVICES ARE BEING REBUILT FROM THE RAILS UP Stablecoins, programmable blockchains, and AI are changing how financial services get built. For a decade, fintech took legacy banking, wrapped it in better software, and won on experience. The rails underneath never moved. Now they do. Altitude is a new kind of financial services company. Banking becomes a module, programmable like the rest of the stack. On top of it we are building the global business account: hold USD and EUR, earn APY on idle treasury, send money anywhere via local digital payment systems, across 150+ countries, no US entity required. Built on Squads Protocol, the treasury infrastructure securing $10B+ in assets. Backed by Haun Ventures, Multicoin Capital, Electric Capital, and Coinbase Ventures. THE ROLE Product engineer is the job for people who want the whole arc: the problem, the design, the code, and the thing customers actually touch. You will work directly with founders and designers, take features from a rough idea to shipped, and own them after they ship. There is no layer of project managers translating between you and the product. The distance between "this should exist" and "this is live" is meant to be short, and you are the person who keeps it short. This is money infrastructure, so the bar is high. The interfaces should feel obvious. The code underneath should be careful. Both matter, and we do not trade one for the other. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Build customer-facing features across the stack, from the account experience down to the money movement underneath it - Work shoulder to shoulder with design on flows where clarity and trust are the product, not decoration - Ship payments, FX, yield, and treasury features on rails that settle 24/7 - Integrate with onchain infrastructure and a wide network of PSPs - Own performance, correctness, and the edge cases that matter more when real money is moving - Help shape what gets built, not just how it gets built, and push back when somethin
