Must Have
Basic experience in material planning, procurement, and/or production processes, particularly related to the various production/operational procedures., Fundamental understanding of process scheduling and constraints within a manufacturing environment., Ability to interpret engineering documents, Bill of Materials (BOMs), Change Orders, and other related procedures., Proficiency in purchasing processes for production and Maintenance Repair & Operations (MRO), expediting and using ERP/MRP systems, as SAP(TM), and MS Office(TM) applications, with advanced skills in Excel’s data analysis and reporting., Demonstrated organizational, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills., High level of energy, with a drive to embrace challenges, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement., Establishes good working relationships with executive management and other levels in manufacturing.

What You'll Do.
Plan and manage material availability to guarantee 100% on-time delivery of customer orders
Collaborate with different production/operations supervisors the planning of operational lead times for of sub-assemblies and box build products
Engage with Sales and Customer Relations Managers the customer and/or planned order releases
considering capacity planning and material requirements
Forecast and maintain adequate levels of purchased and stock components
adjusting order review points to minimize shortages or overages
Take ownership of material planning processes and procedure documentation
ensuring compliance with labeling requirements
Work closely with the Operations Manager to devise and execute long-term production schedules
identifying and reporting plant capacity constraints
Monitor workflow and schedules rigorously to ensure timely delivery
Coordinate with Production Supervisors to develop and implement short and medium-term production plans
while maintaining effective scheduling processes to achieve production objectives
Collaborate with Warehouse functions and material handlers to ensure the correct type and quantity of materials are available to prevent stoppages
Supervise and control the disposition team to release
and maintain production orders
Act as an SAP Key User in the planning and dispatch area
providing training to teams in SAP processes
Perform any other related duties as assigned
