Full Job Description
**Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!** # Responsibilities: * Lead and develop a small team of direct reports—assign priorities, remove roadblocks, and coach day-to-day execution to deliver new products and improvements on schedule. * Serve as the resident expert on internal manufacturing process capabilities to ensure designs are practical and production-ready. * Lead engineering projects that support the broader product portfolio and business strategy—owning scope, timing, risk, and technical outcomes. * Create, read, and interpret engineering drawings to drive clear specifications and effective design intent. * Manage the product lifecycle including design, prototyping, testing, and PPAP—driving disciplined execution and strong technical documentation. * Represent Product Engineering in cross-functional problem solving and continuous improvement to improve quality, cost, and speed-to-market. * Support customers, suppliers, and internal teams with technical information—serving as the engineering point of contact for product/process quality concerns and maintaining regular supplier communication. # Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or related field. * 3-5 years experience in Product Engineering. * Previous management or supervisory experience preferred. * Technical knowledge of automotive components. * Proficiency with 3D CAD tools—preferably Siemens NX or SolidWorks. * Experience managing product lifecycle from concept through launch. * Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage workload in a team environment.
