About the Role: As a Product Designer at Wave you will play a crucial role in the product development lifecycle. Working collaboratively with fellow product designers, researchers, content strategists, product managers, engineers, and customer support, you will craft user-centered experiences that help micro business owners thrive by crushing business financial management complexity. ## Here's how you'll make an impact Working in collaboration with cross-functional product teams to navigate user and business needs during the discovery phase and iterate on product design solutions that provide desired value for our customers while focusing on the delivery. Understanding and engaging in the creation and evolution of Wave's product strategy. Following and helping improve Wave’s user-centric design principles Help us build and maintain our Design Systems libraries while building innovative products. Working with the Product Manager and the Engineer Lead to prioritize the discovery and delivery backlogs. Creating and executing a research plan in partnership with the User Research Team, conducting concept testing, usability testing, and user interview sessions. Gathering insights from research, developing hypotheses, and exploring multiple possibilities before focusing on a valuable and desirable solution, balancing user needs with business goals and strategy. Mocking up and prototyping solutions following our Design Systems and continually validating, testing, experimenting, and refining your work with users.
