## _Job Description_ **Product De sign Intern ** **Start date** : August/September 2026 **Duration** : 6 months **Allowance** : 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses **Platform/Project** : Formulation and ingredient functionality in Emulsions **Location** : Nijmegen You will do an internship in the R&D center within the Product Development Technology Team working on emulsion-based products. **Assignments and key activities** You will do an internship in the R&D department within the Product Design Team working on emulsified products. During your internship you will be occupied with, among other things: * Literature research for further ingredient understanding and related functionality; * Prepare lab and pilot plant samples for Physico-chemical and sensorial analysis; * Perform analytical and sensorial tests, analyze the data and reporting results; * Support the product developers/process technologists with lab & pilot trials; * Understand fundamentals of food sensorial evaluation. **Basic Requirements:** You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement but other languages are a plus) * EU - Students: Need to be enrolled at an university for at least 50% of the duration of the internship. * Non - EU Students: Need to be enrolled at a Dutch University for the whole duration of the internship. _NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands or have relevant student work visa) _ **Specific Team Requirements:** * You are passionate about Taste, Nutrition and Planet and highly motivated to contribute to our growth. * You have a proactive attitude and enjoy working in the lab or pilot plant. * Knowledge about the functionality of ingredients and the basics of food processing. * Familiarity with emulsions is preferred. * You are enrolled at a university, studying in the Food Science/Technology sector. **Recru
