## **JOB DESCRIPTION:** **Bring your passion, ideas and purpose to life in a company that can truly help you achieve your full potential.** Join Abbott Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Disease business, a world leader in point-of-care testing. **The Opportunity** Due to an internal promotion, we are recruiting for a **Product Application Specialist** for the**north UK region.** Region of responsibility: **North West, Wales, Scotland & Ireland ** The candidates need to be based within the region to be considered for the role. **What You’ll Do** As the Product Application Specialist, you will support Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Disease commercial strategy to align and partner with the NHS and private sectors, maximizing the division’s sales and margin goals within the rapid molecular diagnostic sector. Providing technical expertise, training and support for the entire product portfolio to customers and the internal teams Key Responsibilities: * Accountable for supporting and contributing to the achievement of regional sales revenue and instrument placement targets through product expertise, customer engagement and alignment with national strategy. * Prioritise key accounts and products based on the national segmentation and targeting strategy and develop relationships with key stakeholders. * Accelerate the sales cycle through product demonstrations, sharing technical education and supporting with verification and validation. * Own the implementation process for new business opportunities to ensure post-sale success and guaranteeing customer satisfaction and revenue growth. * Support and upsell in existing accounts by adding value through training, education and trouble shooting. * Lead connectivity for all new instruments in region, ensuring a rapid implementation.
