Industry & Context.
Employees will be expected to be able to commute to the office 1-2 times a week., for training & onboarding purposes, the in-office expectation time will increase., Nomad policy: Work remotely 4 weeks of the year from anywhere in the world.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-5 years of experience in long-form, narrative podcasting or documentary-style storytelling, Experience in producing audio, including pitching, gathering tape, interviewing guests, hosting, editing interviews for content, and working with audio engineers on sound design, Ability to integrate complex topics into a narrative, Ability to write complex narrative style documentary podcasts, Ability to balance projects, set and meet clear deadlines, and clearly communicate project progress, Ability to incorporate editorial feedback
Nice to Have
Experience integrating complex topics that are financial or strategic business concepts, Experience working with audio engineers to shape impact and story, Familiarity with production tools such as Descript and remote recording platforms
What You'll Do.
Research and pitch story ideas
Identify the right angle
and narrative arc for each episode
Identify and enable learning outcomes that emerge from the narrative
Research and find guests for each episode
Conduct interviews with industry experts and guests with first hand experience
Host and voice episodes
Integrate interview tape and scripting for maximum clarity and impact
Incorporate feedback from editorial team on outline and script drafts
Uphold production quality and sound design that enhances the story and strikes the right tone

Working with editorial team to research and pitch story ideas; Collaborating with the Associate Producer to research and find guests for each episode; Working with Audio Engineers to uphold production quality and sound design; Able to incorporate editorial feedback to help make the best product possible; Experience working with audio engineers to shape impact and story is an asset

Our Special Features are our most ambitious, highest impact, and highest listened-to podcast episodes on our platform. As a Special Features Producer, with the help of the production team, you’ll be the driving force behind bringing our high-quality, narrative episodes to life: from pitching to interviewing guests to scripting and voicing. ## Who You Are You have 3-5 years of experience: You have demonstrated experience in long-form, narrative podcasting or documentary-style storytelling.
