What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2–4 years of experience in accounting, compensation, financial operations, or a similar role, Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, a related discipline, or equivalent experience, Hands-on experience with agency management or invoicing systems, Advanced Excel proficiency including lookup functions, conditional aggregation, nested formulas, Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals sufficient to prepare and book journal entries accurately, Ability to independently synthesize data from multiple sources, apply sound judgement, and present findings in a clear narrative for management, Comfort working with messy, large, and imperfect datasets across multiple systems, written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience working for insurance an insurance brokerage, wholesaler, or MGA, Hands-on AMS experience--Sagitta, AMS 360, Applied Epic, Benefit Point, or equivalent, Basic SQL querying capability for pulling and validating data, VBA familiarity, Hands on Power Query experience, Experience supporting payroll, accounts payable, or producer compensation processes

LOCATION: Remote, CST or EST time zones. Come join our team! WHAT YOU’LL BRING: Required • 2–4 years of experience in accounting, compensation, financial operations, or a similar role • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, a related discipline, or equivalent experience. • Hands-on experience with agency management or invoicing systems. • Advanced Excel proficiency including lookup functions, conditional aggregation, nested formulas and exposure to Power Query. • Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals sufficient to prepare and book journal entries accurately. • Ability to independently synthesize data from multiple sources, apply sound judgement, and present findings in a clear narrative for management. • Comfort working with messy, large, and imperfect datasets across multiple systems. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. COMPENSATION: The national average salary for this role is $75 000.00 - $90 000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data..
