Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required, Ten-plus years of experience in materials management required, Ten-plus years of experience in manufacturing required, Ten-plus years of experience using an ERP system to efficiently plan and procure material required, Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to communicate at various levels within the organization required, Demonstrated ability to successfully achieve goals required, Experience with material expediting and implementing solutions to short-term and long-term supply issues required, analytical skills required, US work authorization without sponsorship required, Ability to pass drug and background check required, Ability to sit, stand, and walk for hours at a time required, Alignment with company core values required
What You'll Do.
Procurement of parts and materials
supplies and equipment for production
Maintaining stock inventory
Completing and maintaining related purchase orders and reports
Performing expedite and de-expedite activities
Monitoring inventory levels
Coordinating with departments to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations
and negotiating part deliveries and prices with suppliers
Monitoring and following applicable laws and regulations
as well as Panelmatic code of conduct requirements
Purchasing the highest quality material at the lowest possible price and in the correct amounts
Developing and ensuring all elements of the purchase commitment are completed with proper required approvals
Reviewing requisitions for accuracy and completeness
Preparing and processing assigned purchase orders
Monitoring ideal inventory reorders and purchasing items needed for inventory replenishment
Reviewing order acknowledgments for item
cost and delivery date accuracy and updating the system
Notifying PMs and/or manufacturing of updates as necessary
Expediting (or de-expediting) the delivery of purchases as necessary
Monitoring shipments to ensure that materials come in on time
Tracing shipments and following up on undelivered material
Conferring with staff
users and suppliers to discuss defective or unacceptable goods/services and determining corrective action
Sourcing and providing material costs and availability to estimating
sales and engineering teams
Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as compiling
auditing or verifying information or data
and maintaining information files and processing paperwork
Assisting in annual physical inventory activities and/or cycle counting as required
