Procurement Specialist **The Opportunity:** With all the information available today, it takes a skilled procurement professional to navigate complex acquisition processes and deliver cost-effective solutions. With the critical decisions made in our defense operations every day, we need a Procurement Specialist like you to do just that. As a Procurement Specialist on our team, you will leverage your expertise in acquisition strategy, vendor negotiations, and compliance with DoD procurement policies to ensure mission success. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to optimize procurement decisions and support our national defense objectives. In this role, you’ll oversee the entire procurement lifecycle—from market research and vendor engagement to contract management and compliance audits. Using your comprehensive understanding of DFARS and FAR processes, you’ll develop acquisition strategies, conduct cost analysis, and ensure adherence to federal procurement regulations. You’ll validate vendor agreements, manage government contracts, and analyze procurement strategies to align with DoD acquisition policies and cost efficiency goals. As the authority on procurement compliance and strategy, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skill set into areas like advanced supply chain logistics, acquisition documentation, and contract lifecycle management. You’ll share your expertise with other professionals through leadership and mentoring.
