The Procurement Specialist, supporting BEUMER North America’s Minerals & Mining division, is responsible for developing and executing project-specific procurement strategies and managing transactions with a primary focus on the heavy-duty steel category. This role serves as the key point of contact for project teams on all heavy-duty steel-related matters, applying a strong commercial mindset to supplier selection, performance management, price negotiation, and the establishment of favorable commercial terms and contracts. The overarching objective is to ensure that selected heavy-duty steel suppliers consistently meet contractual obligations, thereby enabling the successful execution of projects and contributing to the overall success of BEUMER North America’s Minerals & Mining operations. Job Responsibilities: * Responsible for managing heavy duty steel supplier selection, contracting, and performance for the Minerals & Mining division. * Lead heavy duty steel supplier selection, RFQ, and contracting process with input from the project team. * Closely monitor and manage heavy duty steel supplier performance with an emphasis on product quality, cost, and schedule integrity. * Own the supplier relationship and performance management.
