Must Have
5+ years of progressive experience in procurement and category management, including category strategy development, strategic sourcing for construction materials, supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, supplier performance management, program development, and business partner engagement., understanding of category management principles, with demonstrated ability to analyze spend and market data, develop multi-year category strategies, and translate insights into measurable business outcomes., Proven track record of delivering sustained value through cost optimization, risk mitigation, supplier performance improvement, and service-level enhancement, including expertise in commercial deal structuring, negotiations, and long-term agreement management., analytical and problem-solving skills, with a logical, structured, and data-driven approach to decision-making., Demonstrated integrity and ability to build trust by consistently modeling company values, policies, and ethical standards., Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint., Results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives from strategy through execution and ongoing performance management., Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management preferred., Experience in General Contractor (GC) sourcing is a plus., Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed., Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes., Experience leading process improvement and standardization familiarity with Lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

Lead the development and expansion of Prologis’ TIMR materials program
