Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Support the development and enhancement of procurement-focused BI prototypes, ensuring alignment with defense procurement reporting needs and operational requirements. Evaluate and assess business intelligence and analytics tools used for procurement reporting, including platforms such as Appian Process HQ and Advana. Analyze procurement and acquisition data to generate insights that support compliance, performance tracking, and decision-making across programs. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and program leadership to define BI requirements and ensure accurate data modeling and reporting outputs. Contribute to strategic planning efforts aimed at advancing procurement analytics capabilities and modernizing reporting frameworks. Support high-visibility Department of the Navy data and analytics initiatives by delivering structured analysis and actionable recommendations. Develop documentation, dashboards, and briefing materials that clearly communicate BI capabilities, roadmap progress, and analytical findings. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data science, information systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in procurement analytics, data intelligence, or similar analytical roles within complex operational environments. Strong understanding of Department of Defense procurement processes, acquisition frameworks, and associated data systems. Active U.S. Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required. Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools for reporting, analysis, and decision support. Ability to translate complex procurement and technical data into clear insights and executive-level briefings. Strong collaboration skills with experience working alongside technical teams and government stakeholders. Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant field such as analytics, data science, or business. Preferred: Experience with Appian Process HQ, Advana, or similar government BI platforms
