What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, 5 years of job-related experience

Nice to Have

Three (3) years experience in government contracting/procurement, Prior PTAC counseling and/or government contracting, acquisition, contract management and/or consulting experience

What You'll Do.

Assist businesses with developing acceptable processes for contracting

Review requests for proposals

quotes and solicitation responses

Collaborate with business owners on contract readiness evaluation

Determine appropriate registrations

Advise of government compliance with regulations

Advise on acquiring certifications

Develop marketing materials and strategies

Establish proper accounting practices

Conduct market research and analysis

Locate potential procurement prospects

Collaborate with other entities in the NMSBDC ecosystem

Conduct research and monitor current trends in federal

Inform clients of changes to procurement requirements

Assist with preparedness for government business opportunities

Develop training workshops on government contracting topics

Coordinate training workshops

Facilitate training workshops

Educate others on procurement best practices

Pursue working relationships with economic development entities

Develop working relationships with financial entities

Maintain working relationships with business advocacy groups

Partner with others to build viable and sustainable

Maintain computerized client databases and files

Analyze data and procurement opportunities

Analyze proprietary information

Recruit new clients by marketing NM APEX Accelerator's

Represent NM APEX Accelerator at conferences

Represent NM APEX Accelerator at networking events

Represent NM APEX Accelerator at workshops

Represent NM APEX Accelerator at seminars
