# **Job Description** * **PROCESSING OPERATORS – Day Shift (7:00am-7:00pm)** **Work just 15 days a Month with a Rotating Schedule!!!** _(Bi-weekly Schedule: work Monday & Tuesday, off Wednesday & Thursday, work Friday, Saturday & Sunday, off Monday & Tuesday, work Wednesday & Thursday, off Friday Saturday & Sunday then the schedule starts over)_ _**Operate stretch blow molding machines and lift equipment, inspect and pack rigid-plastic PET containers, and perform scheduled charting and inspections on machines and associated equipment.**_ · Start and stop stretch blow-molding machines to produce quality, rigid-plastic containers. · Perform routine inspections, cleaning & lubricating and/or tightening of machine assembles. · Perform container inspections using test equipment, statistical quality methods & visual inspection techniques. · Pack containers into boxes/cartons at designated production-line speeds according to specifications & stack packed cartons to build 4 ft. high units. · Safely operate lift trucks to move materials. · Perform as a responsible team member to maintain a clean, safe, and effective work environment. · Operate stretch blow molding machines, pull seepage, apply SPC methodologies for initiating machine adjustments, change materials, assist in changeovers and identify start and stop of out-of-spec production (held ware). · Willing to fill in as Packaging Technician when needed to complete orders. · Responsible for maintaining and adhering to established Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements. · Responsible for adhering to Food Safety Compliance. **Qualifications** · High school diploma or GED required. · Must have excellent attendance. · Must have good housekeeping skills. · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. · Must have knowledge of product identification and have basic math skills. · Fork-lift experience. · Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner. · Capable of ph
