It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence. **Description of Work** This position is housed at the WorkSource East training facility in Goldsboro, NC. The primary purpose of this position is to provide customer service functions for the facility and perform administrative and technical support. Performs a variety of ongoing functions for the facility such as office support tasks, customer service and administrative support. Requires knowledge regarding the agency, the training facility, it’s policies and procedures, and the ability to verbalize this information effectively and appropriately. This position is primarily responsible for all public contact and interactions with visitors, consumers, vendors, etc. in person, phone, or email.
