5 or more years’ experience in plastic blow molding manufacturing

Vocational training or associate degree in plastics technology, Bachelor’s degree in related field, Green Belt certification
What You'll Do.
Maintain and promote plant safety program
Develop and maintain processes to increase machine efficiencies
Improve manufacturing processes
Increase productivity
Reduce manufacturing costs
Adjust and monitor plastic manufacturing equipment
Develop and implement strategies to improve material yield
Execute changeovers in production process
Collaborate with Maintenance and Production on new systems
Monitor production processes for improvement
Track and measure production improvement processes
Propose and implement improvements to enhance OEE
Maintain and repair process equipment
Repair process monitoring equipment
Conduct machine troubleshooting
Assist with Preventive Maintenance Program
Perform routine repairs on equipment
Communicate need for major repairs
Ensure processes and products meet quality standards
Test materials and products for quality
Assist with New Product Qualification
Provide input on new jobs
Provide input on running new molds
Assist in training technical personnel
Assist in training production personnel
Establish and maintain effective working team relationships

This role provides overall process design and measures for improvement of manufacturing, thereby increasing productivity and reducing manufacturing costs. This role ensures the safe and efficient use of personnel, equipment, raw materials, and supplies in the production of high-quality plastic drums.
