HS diploma or GED required, Minimum 3yrs of experience in plastic extrusion or similar manufacturing environments, Ability to interpret technical documents and follow detailed instructions, mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency, Effective communication and teamwork skills, Bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, visual acuity, climbing stairs and ladders, driving a fork truck and lifting up to 50 pounds
Nice to Have
additional targeted technical education in plastics materials or in manufacturing machine processing
What You'll Do.
ensure that equipment is functioning and operating at top efficiency and quality
monitoring / adjusting machine parameters
assisting in changeovers
handling process and equipment issues
Run and oversee all aspects of the plastic injection molding/ extrusion process
and troubleshooting of machinery
Use precision instruments to monitor meters
and pressures to maintain adherence to production specifications
Configure machines with precision to accommodate varying production needs and ensure optimal performance
Conduct regular tests and inspections to verify product quality according to established procedures
Maintain accurate production records and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or deviations from process standards
