**Process Technician 1** **Life Unlimited.** At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. The Process Technician supports daily manufacturing operations by performing machine setup, tooling adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and equipment readiness activities across CNC and related production equipment. The role also supports Engineering through routine data collection, simple process studies, documentation updates, and participation in engineering trials under supervision. Working closely with Engineering and Production teams, the Process Technician helps ensure safe, efficient, and quality-compliant manufacturing processes. **What will you be doing?** **Manufacturing Engineering Support** Provide hands-on engineering support through routine data collection, execution of repetitive engineering tasks, basic process studies, and documentation updates to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and effective implementation of engineering changes. **Quality & Documentation Compliance ** Support quality compliance by accurately completing documentation, assisting in non-conformance investigations and capability studies, and ensuring adherence to ISO, GMP, and site quality standards. **Production Floor Support** Deliver daily technical support on the production floor by performing setup verification, equipment checks, first-off inspections, and in-process monitoring across CNC and related manufacturing equipment, while escalating abnormalities as required. **CNC Program & Machining Support ** Support machining operations by loading and executing engineering-released CNC programs, assisting in trials and optimizations, adjusting offsets, monitoring tool life, and providing process feedback to Engineering. **HSE & Workplace Maintenance ** Ensure compliance with HSE, sustainability, and energy policies by promoting safe work practices, preventing incidents and waste, reporting HSE issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiat
