When you join McKee Foods, you’ll discover a better way to live and work. **Pay** $32.83 - $38.29 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications Plus shift differential of $2.00 for any hours worked on 3rd Shift **Schedule** 3rd Shift (Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.) Onsite; other days and hours as needed **Location** 272 Patton Farm Road Stuarts Draft, Virginia 24477 **Job Summary** McKee Foods is seeking a Process Mechanic to join our Maintenance team. * Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all equipment necessary to the manufacturing function in process area * Perform other related duties as needed **Required Qualifications** * Working knowledge and thorough understanding of pneumatics, power transmissions (chain drives, e.g.), pumps, valves and bearing application * Technical maintenance training * Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical equipment issues * Ability to read mechanical blueprints and drawings * Accurate measuring ability * Ability to furnish personal tools as required on the Process Mechanic tool list * Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles **Preferred Qualifications** * Sketching ability * Four years of industrial maintenance experience * Experience as a Maintenance Utility at McKee Foods * Hydraulics experience * Ability to obtain and maintain an L.T.O.
