Must Have

Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21, Formal further education certificate to HND or equivalent in a relevant subject, BEngSc in relevant Engineering/Technical Degree, An understanding and appreciation for quality control, Analytical mindset with the willingness to learn, Proficient in computer and internet use, including proficiency in commonly used applications such as Microsoft Office Suite & manufacturing systems such as: ERP systems, Manufacturing Execution System etc., A proactive approach to process improvements

Nice to Have

Experience in Circuit Card Manufacturing or Design is beneficial, Knowledge of PCBA Processes and Technologies is beneficial

What You'll Do.

Supporting the manufacturing area in its growth and rate increase

Carrying out improvement activities

Support the Non-Conformance process

Interface with the design authority during the product development phase

Ensure processes and equipment contribute to a safe working environment

Develop and maintain manufacturing methods

Resolve issues and queries with the operations team on the shop floor

Perform and review PFMEAs

Develop tooling to aid the manufacturing process

Create and modify machine programmes for the assembly

Work closely with test, manufacturing and quality engineers; Building relationships with stakeholders including the operations, design support and calibration and maintenance teams; Interface with the design authority; Support the New Product Introduction team; Resolve issues and queries with the operations team on the shop floor

Full Job Description

An opportunity has become available at the MBDA UK Bolton site to work as part of a team of experienced engineers to support the increasing product delivery requirements, maintaining and improving processes and standards to achieve this. **Salary** : Circa £43,000 depending on experience **Dynamic (hybrid) working** : Minimum of 4 days per week on-site due to workload classification **Security Clearance** : British Citizen only. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.
