[Why Join Us | DuPont Careers](https://careers.dupont.com/us/en/whyjoinus) DuPont’s Water & Protection is recruiting for a Styrofoam **Process Equipment Operator** to join its dynamic team located at its manufacturing site in Channahon, IL As a Process Operator you will be a high performing member of a three-person team of Process Technicians. Under the leadership of the Site Production Leader and Operations Leader, you will operate assigned areas of the Styrofoam® insulation plant in a safe, environmentally responsible and efficient manner, and perform minor maintenance activities. **This position operates on a 12-hr rotating shift schedule (3, 2, 2 rotating shift) and will work on assignments in all areas of a tobacco free plant campus.** **As a Process Operator, you will:** * Meet behavior expectations in the areas of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), quality, productivity, and teamwork and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts * Interface with process control computers to optimize and troubleshoot product quality and equipment operations * Perform standard and non-routine testing of product quality * Manually set up and adjust process equipment for product changes * Safely perform manual operations such as cutting foam during start-ups/jam-ups, manually stacking and grinding foam, and filling solids additive feeders * Perform on-shift minor maintenance, predictive/preventive maintenance (PPM), breakdown repair, and scheduled shutdown/turnaround activities **Qualifications:** Required: * High school diploma or GED
