What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline, 7+ years of relevant experience in an engineering discipline, 2+ years of proven experience managing and leading a technical engineering team, Proven experience with key manufacturing process development tools and methodologies
Nice to Have
Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant engineering or scientific field, Deep expertise in process control, experimental design (DOE), or metallurgy, chemistry, manufacturing, or 3D printing, Technical background or direct experience with laser processing, complex metal forming, or high-volume manufacturing readiness for advanced materials, Experience in metal additive manufacturing, specialized forming processes, or thermal management systems, Experience with high-volume manufacturing, Proven ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear project scopes and business-aligned technology roadmaps
