Process Engineer - PEN Assembly **Description -** **What a Process Engineer - PEN Assembly does at HP:** • Designs portions of engineering solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes for the manufacturing of parts, component sub- assemblies, and final assemblies, based on established engineering principles and provided specifications. • Implements and executes established time standards, production area layouts, and requirements for manufacturing tooling and processes for subsystems and portions of new products. • Develops cost estimates, capacity models, and recommendations for tooling and process requirements. • Develops and reviews key indicators to measure factory performance and provide recommendations to factory management. • Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced manufacturing and development partners regarding processes, standards, compliance and manufacturing issues of existing products. • Coordinates and captures recommendations for problem resolution against the issues identified. • Participates as a member of project team of other manufacturing engineers and internal and outsourced manufacturing partners to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high quality manufacturing solutions for low to moderately- complex products from new-product introduction through end of lifecycle. • Ensures compliance of manufacturing operations with necessary internal and external regulations. • Develops conclusions and written reports capturing current-state analysis and recommendations, contributing proactively through research and data analysis support. • Works independently on moderate scope problems, applying professional expertise, exercising judgment by following company policies and procedures. ****Education & Experience** Recommended** • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated compe
