What They're Looking For.
Must Have
ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in discipline-specific field, Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operating company or design firm setting for a related industry, written and verbal communication skills, Intermediate experience with applicable Industry and Regulatory Guidance and statutory building codes
Nice to Have
EIT or PE is preferred, Highly proficient with performing complex engineering tasks with limited supervision, Experience coordinating and managing a design within a project team or with construction trade partners, and vendors, Experience with supporting construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch list development and construction progress reports, Basic experience with commissioning, startup, qualification, operating or troubleshooting issues with process systems

Communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
Translating client requirements into scope
Documenting open issues

Identifying departures from contracted scope and changes to design direction
Preparing Sequence of Operations
Reviewing Functional Specifications
Participating in cross-discipline squad checks and discipline checks
Leading project system design programming and planning
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Frequently communicates and coordinates with internal and external architects and engineers, clients, construction managers, trade partners and vendors.; Manages multiple complex tasks, establishes priorities and directs the work of others.; The Engineer may work independently or at the direction of the Lead Engineer or Project Manager.; Participates in cross-discipline squad checks and discipline checks for small projects of intermediate complexity and drives overall project quality.; Provides mentorship to junior discipline and design staff.
