What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or pilot-scale processing environment, Experience owning a process or unit operation, or a track record of independent process work, Experience with process data analysis and statistical analysis
Nice to Have
process or manufacturing engineering experience, troubleshooting instincts, drive to make hands-on improvements alongside operators, Experience with battery cell manufacturing, solid-state or lithium-ion, Familiarity with slurry formulation, rheology, particle size analysis, or mixing, Experience with SolidWorks, Minitab or JMP
What You'll Do.
Serve as subject matter expert for electrode slurry processing
Own slurry process equipment
Develop and improve closed processing methods
Explore and establish new mixing and processing protocols
and implement new equipment
Incorporate operator input for improvements
Train operators on new processes
Analyze production data
Track and close out corrective actions
Apply Lean Six Sigma tools
Identify or design hardware for inspection
Work in dry room and glovebox
Flex coverage for off-shift tasks

Team & Collaboration
working day to day with operators, supervisors and fellow process engineers; working with your peer group to confirm they are completed on time and effective; implement changes in a cross-functional way
