Full Job Description

### **At Materion, everyone is included, respected and offered opportunity to grow._Join us!_** Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the **Process Engineer** will work closely with others across operations to achieve efficiencies in process, procedures, equipment and product quality. This position may be filled as an Engineer I, Engineer II or Engineer III based on candidate qualifications and experience. **_You will have the opportunity to:_** * Develop and improve existing PSM program elements - Process Hazard Analysis, Management of Change, Pre-Startup Safety Review, etc. * Improve process capabilities and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards. * Assist in the design, installation, and start-up of new equipment. * Manage small capital projects. * Certify as a Lean Sigma Green Belt and/or Black Belt and run process improvement projects. * Lead and participate in problem solving and root cause activities, collaborating with engineering team, process operators and maintenance personnel. * Support beryllium safety management program improvement efforts. **REQUIREMENTS:** * BS in Engineering or applicable discipline * Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities * Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred **#LI-AS1** **HP** **Materion Corporation and its subsidiaries (the “Company”) is an equal employment opportunity employer.
