**Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!** # Responsibilities: * Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput * Lead and support process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen, etc.) * Analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement * Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI) * Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve process issues and reduce downtime * Conduct process audits and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and lean manufacturing standards * Drive waste reduction, cost savings, and cycle time improvements * Lead or participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects * Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support on the production floor * Promote and enforce 5S, Lean principles, and operational excellence practices # Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field) preferred * 1-3 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience preferred * Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies * Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred * Experience with data analysis and problem-solving tools * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to work in a hands-on production environment * Ability to manage multiple priorities * Position is located in Durham, NC * Standard work time: Monday through Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm * Travel may be required no more than 10% * Job regularly requires standing, walking, climbing and visual inspection typically 50% or more of the time. ‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
