Full Job Description

Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $400B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients. About the Role We’re hiring a Process Engineer to design, stabilize, and scale high-throughput manufacturing lines that produce highly customized products. This role sits at the intersection of automation and shop-floor execution—owning material flow, exception handling, and process reliability across both robotic and manual operations. You’ll act as the technical authority on line performance, driving root cause analysis, building robust rework and bypass loops, standardizing workflows, and ensuring manufacturing cells are balanced and capable of hitting output and quality targets. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a fast-growing, 24/7 environment and is ideal for a process engineer who thrives in ambiguity, builds scalable systems from the ground up, and takes full ownership of operational performance. What You'll Do - Design processes around kickbacks / reworks and other exceptions and manual material flow - Own process flow for any manual manufacturing operations - Maintain simple, clear documentation to enable rapid training of operators - Run continuous improvement projects to improve key metrics - Ensure lines are balanced and manufacturing cells and process are capable of hitting targets What We're Looking For - Systemic Root Cause Analysis: Expert at investigating material flow disruptions or lost parts to identify the failure point and implementing procedural updates to prevent recurrence. - Non-Conforming Material Manag
