It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities. # Job Description **Responsibilities** * Implements and sustains BDPS work process for the manufacturing unit. * Identifies critical equipment setting and creation of standards. * Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates. * Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit. * Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance. * Responsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations. * Other duties as required to support the needs of the business. **Deliverables** * Ensures safety of all associates and quality of product. * Ensures new manufacturing processes and process improvements meet Manufacturing Unit objectives. * Ensures equipment is running efficiently and effectively. * Analyzes current state of equipment efficiency to drive OEE improvement and sustainability. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, **Preferred Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering * Two years medical manufacturing experience * Three years manufacturing experience * High speed, automated manufacturing experience At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced health
