What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years Operations Engineering or related experience, Lean and six sigma manufacturing experience, Data analysis and using statistical tools, Be flexible in work hours, Flex work schedule as required to cover off shift and weekend production, Work with quantitative analysis and models for decision-making and problem solving, Able to conduct research, prepare comprehensive reports and present complex statistical information in a clear and succinct fashion, Can demonstrate process trouble shooting ability, Can evaluate multiple variables to arrive at the optimum solution, Competency in objective setting, and providing appropriate situational leadership to execute these strategies, Ability to take on increased responsibility, special initiatives, and leadership role
Nice to Have
Experience in a 24/7 continuous environment preferred, Web handling experience preferred
What You'll Do.
Support day to day product and process operations
Identify and drive safety improvements
Support of the scale-up of new products and in the improvement of existing products
Support preventive maintenance plan on coating asset
Work closely with Master Scheduler and operations team to ensure optimal schedule sequence
relay performance to schedule interruptions
and make course corrections to minimize customer impact and improve production efficiencies
Lead coating trials and SOP changes
Manage all aspects of Standard Operating Conditions Program
Troubleshoot daily operational first point of contact for shift teams
Lead process improvement teams identifying and calling out all areas of improvement
Research and identify root cause on customer complaints
Work with team to develop and implement corrective action plan and implementation
Complete capital jobs on time and within budget
