What You'll Achieve.
ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering requirements, internal procedures, and quality expectations; help prevent larger manufacturing or customer-related quality issues; serves as a proactive quality presence within the facility; supports continuous improvement across all departments
Industry & Context.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the manufacturing facility for extended periods of time., Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and visual inspection of products and processes., Ability to use measuring devices, inspection tools, cameras, and computer equipment., Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted., Ability to work in varying manufacturing conditions including heat, noise, dust, and around moving equipment., Manufacturing plant environment with frequent exposure to production equipment, welding operations, paint areas, and industrial noise., Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas., Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs., Shift schedules are subject to change based on operational requirements., safety-sensitive position, tobacco-free facility
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED required
Nice to Have
Previous manufacturing quality inspection, process auditing, or quality control experience preferred, Experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred, Transformer manufacturing experience preferred

Conduct routine walkthroughs and audits
Identify and document process deviations

Create and distribute inspection reports
Communicate quality findings
Support proactive resolution of manufacturing issues
Verify compliance with manufacturing procedures
Utilize measuring tools and inspection equipment
Maintain accurate inspection records
Promote a culture of quality

Team & Collaboration
Communicate quality findings, recurring issues, and process concerns to production supervisors and Quality leadership.
