Medication QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation, Read, write and speak English, High school or Equivalent (GED), One (1) year experience in elder care
Nice to Have
Experience in senior living, Experience in home care, Experience in healthcare support, Proficient computer skills, Self-management and organization skills, Multi-tasking abilities, Flexible and adaptable, Ability to handle difficult issues, Maintain confidentiality
What You'll Do.
Support day and night coverage
Meet daily personal care needs
Anticipate care needs
Supervise medication administration
Administer prescribed medications
Follow medication administration rights
Provide assistance with ADLs
Tailor ADLs to preferences
Anticipate changing resident needs
Identify changing resident needs
Report changing resident needs
Maintain open communication with residents
Maintain open communication with families
Respond to family questions
Monitor resident status
Document observations
Report suspected abuse
Report suspected neglect
Report suspected misappropriation
Administer medications accurately
Administer medications on time
Document medication administration thoroughly
Restock medication carts
Restock medication drawers
