As a Patient Companion, you will provide caregiver support by assisting with constant observation of patients as assigned by the Registered Nurse. You will provide patients with comfort and companionship while delivering direct and indirect care. In the Float Pool position, you will work with diverse populations of patients in numerous units, departments and/or locations while learning from many of our best caregivers. **A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) varying shifts, which can include days, evenings, nights and weekends. You must work 48 hours within a six-week period.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: * Assist with direct and indirect patient care for one to two patients, such as rooming, vital signs, weight and pulse oximetry.
